The Spa Inventory Coordinator provides operational and retail support to the Spa Inventory Manager and Inventory Clerk regarding ordering, receiving, shipping and stocking of products and resources. Responsible for data entry, inventory tracking and inventory counts.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Spa Inventory Coordinator responds to employees and guests needs with genuine concern and a sense of urgency, performs all guest activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner, at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction, maintains a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with management and fellow associates in all Houstonian departments, reports to work on time in a properly cleaned and pressed uniform. Hygiene is key in this environment due to the close proximity working with the clients. Employee scent should always remain neutral. Light make-up should be applied prior to arriving for your shift. The Spa Inventory Coordinator adheres to a professional relationship with clients of The Houstonian and Trellis Spa. Discussion of internal matters of any sort with clients is not permitted. Reports and documents any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with shipping and receiving processes, follow all inventory and departmental policies and procedures, assist in labeling products, stocking and restocking merchandise for spa lobby floor presentation according to visual standards in the spa, maintain the stocking levels of professional shelving and treatment kits throughout the spa and the professional and retail warehouse areas in a neat and orderly fashion. The Inventory Coordinator assist with the recordkeeping of inventory counts and the physical inventory processes. Pick up and deliver incoming and outgoing mail for the spa, deliver boxes to and from Purchasing, ensuring the safekeeping of shipping and receiving items, receive boxes and verifies contents against packing slip, process merchandise for floor presentation according to visual standards, and assist with delivering and picking up Accounting related paperwork, daily stock checks and replenishment in all areas of the spa and its labs, assist other departments whenever necessary. Attend all training sessions, learning new techniques to be used in the performance of the job, and perform any reasonable tasks assigned by a supervisor or manager.
