Overall Responsibility
Plan and coordinate the supply and movement of inventory for all orthopaedic surgical cases performed in the greater
Houston area utilizing a state-of-the-art warehouse management system. Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of required inventory to and from all hospitals. Manage and adjust inventory levels in order to achieve all territory service goals while also achieving corporate inventory goals. Manage transportation costs through an efficient and balanced use of overnight carriers, same-day couriers and the sales force.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Create and execute a daily inventory plan and strategy to ensure that implants and instruments are delivered
100% on time and accurately for all surgical cases
- Communicate daily with sales force to schedule and plan for upcoming surgeries
- Store, replenish and retrieve inventory in preparation for surgical cases
- Complete inventory transactions in the SAP ordering system
- Track and adjust consignment implant and instrument inventory according to changing demand patterns
- Coordinate with Billing Specialist to ensure continuity between the inventory and billing processes
- Transport medical inventory, via company cargo van, between local office and area hospitals and the surrounding region
- Monitor and analyze courier usage in order to minimize transportation costs
- Forecast future instrument needs on a quarterly basis
- Plan and coordinate annual corporate inventory audits
- Plan and coordinate inventory cycle count program to ensure a high level of inventory control and accuracy
- Research and resolve all inventory variances
- Participate in corporate conference calls
- Complete inventory management projects as needed

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Could be December 2023 Graduate
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Valid Driver’s License
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
