Spa Front Desk Associate

Compensation: Wages, PTO, Product & Service Discounts

As the Front Desk Coordinator you are probably the most indispensable person in the shop. You have the first and last contact with each client, and your impression is a lasting one. You are trained to handle the client as if the client were the most important person around. You are also in a prime position to receive client feedback.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Social Media and or marketing skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Open and Close the shop; key holder
• Answer the phone and responding to emails and texts
• Proficient in our software; making appts, checking out customers, selling gift cards, inventory adjustments, product selling reports
• Detail-oriented; team player; professional; friendly; stays busy
• Be able to communicate with staff, management and customers
• Assist the owner as needed with social media and marketing activities, taking photographs of products and posting to Instagram
• Manage staff hours and commissions to be accurate for reporting

Customer Service

• Build a friendly and welcoming shop environment
• Develop customer relationships. Communicate effectively with customers to determine the best beauty products to fit their needs.
• Comfortable applying makeup and choosing the right products and colors for a variety of clients.
• Maintain a high level of product knowledge, green beauty industry knowledge + health and wellness knowledge.

Operations + Store Merchandising

• Help with store productivity, to increase sales and maximize customer experiences.
• Actively participate in all merchandising activities including, but not limited to:
• Stock maintenance (restock shelves; help create new product purchase orders; monitor stock for easy product replenishment
• Organize and clean store

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
