Job Summary
The Solution Architect is a crucial role in creating and maintaining the strategic partnership between customers and Adeptia services unit. The Solution Architect will be responsible for architecting and designing the solutions using Adeptia platform based on the customer requirements. The Solution Architect will work closely with the customers and internal technology subject matter experts in the definition, implementation of customer requirements and coordinate with the offshore development team on the implementation.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Work with Customers’ Business and IT units to define the solution requirements for Custom Development Solution, B2B/ETL/EAI/Cloud Integration space using Adeptia Integration platform
- Review, interpret and respond to customer’s business requirements, needs and wants and transform into a Solution Architecture, technical design in line with Adeptia Integration platform
- Storyboard and discuss the solutions and architecture with customers and prospects
- Manage project deliverables and coordination with off-shore team as needed
- Review implementation and provide design guidelines for the implementation team
- Assist customers with implementing Adeptia platform
- Guide Customers with Architecture guidelines, design and configuration recommendations for successful implementation of Adeptia Platform
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
- Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
- Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard
Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor degree or better in computer science or related field
Experience
• 15 years or more experience in information technology
Professional knowledge and expertise
- 10+ Extensive experience with understanding client requirements through direct client interaction, translating them into technical specifications and driving their execution
- Having 8+ years of extensive experience in Agile Methodology (Daily Scrum calls, Product Backlogs refinements, Sprint Planning Meetings, Retrospectives, Story Board, and User Story Writing)
- 8+ years of extensive experience as Team Lead, currently managing offshore team
- 8+ years of experience design & development of solutions, integrating with Cloud/SaaS applications, APIs, SDK of packaged applications and legacy applications using Enterprise architecture. SOA/EAI, Microservices, Integration patterns in the B2B/ETL/EAI/Cloud Integration space using Integration Platforms such as Adeptia, Talend, Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, SnapLogic or similar products required
- Strong background in integration standards ((e.g. EDI X12, EDIFACT, ebXml, iDOC, BAPI, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in the following technical areas: SOA, Java/JEE, RESTful and SOAP Web services stacks and technology (JMS, SAAJ, JAXP, etc), Xml technologies (schema, xpath, xslt), parsing, JMS, RDBMS/SQL, Windows and Linux OS, Application Servers (JBoss, Jetty, Tomcat)
- Well versed with modern web UI tools/framework (Javascript Frameworks, AngularJS, ExtJs, NodeJS, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus, Messaging Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), RDBMS database technologies
- Well versed in transport protocols such as HTTPs, Secure FTP, POP/IMAP/SMTP, JDBC
- Experience in implementing security aspects including API security, authentication, authorization, SSO, message & transport level security
- Good knowledge on DevOps stack (CI & CD) and other dependency management and build tools
- Proven ability to contribute in a remote/distributed client environment and deliver under pressure and time constraints, mission-critical 24x7 applications or services
- Enthusiasm and commitment to complete projects and meet milestones by overcoming obstacles
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional commitment and discipline to quality, continuous testing, best practices, standard practices and patterns
- Good communication skills (fluent in English): ability to present and articulate thoughts and ideas and ability to document work and design artifacts in prose and diagrams
