About this position
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing Social Media designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between Unawares, Customers, Ambassadors, and Plexus. This Social Media Specialist will actively participate in a wide variety of Social Media activities such as, creating and executing content strategies to support marketing campaigns and promoting products, in addition to increasing growth, facilitating community development, and monitoring a suite of analytics. This position provides input and collaboration on overall marketing, communications, and brand interactions. The Social Media Specialist takes pride in the company and is attentive to every detail of their responsibilities while personifying our One Plexus community.

What you'll do
- You collaborate with the Social Media Manager to execute social strategies across various Social Media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube.
- You create and execute Social Media content that aligns with the social strategies of each platform to drive growth and engagement.
- You create and manage a Gen Z focus group to develop and execute the Gen Z Social Media strategy.
- You produce relevant and compelling content both individually and in partnership with the Creative team including images, video, and written content that reaches and engages Ambassadors and Customers.
- You assist with the creation of creative briefs and shot lists for social shoots/campaigns.
- You provide day-to-day management of our Social Media presence to provide a positive Plexus experience for our social followers including scheduling content, responding to comments and direct messages, monitoring reviews,and managing reputation.
- You oversee and execute content calendars and content collaborations across all social platforms.
- You identify concerns that need to be escalated and help troubleshoot and problem-solve.
- You brainstorm and execute social campaigns and analyze key metrics, provide reports to management, and recommend strategy adjustments as needed.
- You stay up to date on social trends, knowledge, and best practices.
You should have
- You have three or more years of experience in Social Media and community management.
- You have an understanding of digital marketing tactics including social, community management, content marketing, and email.
- You have the ability to tell a story with data.
- You are adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate successful completion of campaigns.
- Although not required, the ability to speak and write Spanish is preferred.
