About the Role
Top Class Actions is looking for an experienced Social Media and Community Specialist to engage with our Social Media followers and readers, monitoring not only our Social Media platforms but our Top Class Actions email inbox as well!
The ideal candidate has a solid background in adopting the personality and language of their clients and is able to deliver clean and grammatically sound copy in the voice of TCA's persona. They live on Social Media platforms, understand current social and cultural trends, and are able to engage with followers/readers by tapping into common interests while speaking on behalf of our mission-educating everyday consumers on class action lawsuits, settlements, and legislative decisions that may affect them in easy-to-understand language!
Responsibilities:
- Follow various marketing strategies and assist in posting content on a variety of Social Media channels
- Create/film video content and create graphics via canva, capcut, inshot, among other mobile tools.
- Engage directly with the community across all consumer-facing channels (Social Media, website, email inbox, etc.)
- Craft brand-appropriate social copy or pop culture-relevant community responses that align with the TCA voice and style guide
- Have your finger on the pulse of our community at all times, identifying shareable/viral content amongst our community through our content, as well as anticipating what its interests may be in developing stories, lawsuit investigations, and settlements
- Monitor Top Class Actions' website and social platforms to collect engagement materials at the request of our Editorial and Marketing departments
- Stay up-to-date on Social Media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure content is optimized for performance on each platform
- Maintain a high-level knowledge of our content and providing customer support (with the guidance of your manager) to the community
- Communicate updates daily to Marketing and Editorial teams
Job Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Social Media and community management experience
- Can demonstrate high-quality grammar skills with the ability to write in multiple voices for multiple audiences
- Knowledge of Social Media scheduling tools
- Ability to create/edit TikTok Style video content using mobile editing tools.
- Excellent project management and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Thrives in the fast-paced world of Social Media AND the high-pressure environment of Social Media community management within a competitive breaking news cycle
Location: This role is 100% remote, Monday through Friday.
