Position Overview
The Social and Paid Media Specialist will report to the Marketing Manager to ensure all Paid Media and organic social media efforts and strategies are organized and highly effective. The ideal candidate is passionate about social media, possesses a deep understanding of all social media platforms and Paid Media, and has a proven track record of developing and implementing successful paid social media strategies. High drive to multitask, pivot, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. They will work closely with the Brand Marketing team to consistently deliver on the brand's messaging on various social media channels while creating engaging content strategies that continue to build brand awareness and loyalty with our customers.
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
Maintain knowledge of Paid Media best practices and Paid Media platforms:
- Stay up-to-date in best-in-class practices for Paid Media through continued education, research and learning
- Facilitate handoff of creative assets and ability to quickly update creative assets with new learnings
- Perform continuous research to develop an advanced understanding of and experience with media ad buying strategies, specifically those with big budgets and large accounts
- Analyze Paid Media results and use learnings to recommend improvement strategies
- Plan, execute, and manage Paid Media campaigns across various platforms
Support business goals & objectives by administering the ideation, creation, and reliable publishing of relevant, high-quality content on all social media platforms:
- Develop and oversee a strategic social content calendar and publishing workflow for all social platforms; facilitate buy-in and signoffs from management and stakeholders
- Work with the creative design team to request paid social media assets, organic social media assets, and social media trends across multiple channels
- Provide up-to-date strategies, best practices, and content calendars on an ongoing basis
- Plan, test, and strategize new ideas for social content and campaigns to constantly improve the growth of the accounts and improve engagement
Report on analytics & performance across platforms to key teams and stakeholders:
- Define, measure, and evaluate relevant social media KPIs to ensure content outperforms industry standards
- Conduct performance analysis of our existing paid social media efforts and identify opportunities for optimization, including continuous testing of ad copy and ad creative, including A/B testing
- Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders
- Analyze channel performance and our follower segments' engagement patterns to provide actionable insights on the effectiveness of various strategies for different categories and channels
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required, B.S. in Marketing or Brand Management or 4 years experience in a comparable marketing role required
- 1+ additional years of experience in organic and Paid social media marketing experience required
- Prior experience in the QSR and/or digital marketing industry is a plus
- Experience utilizing social media scheduling and social listening tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and able to multitask
