Overview:
The Pendleton Law Team is seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing video content to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience on multiple platforms. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Develop a variety of Social Media content including video series;
- Record scripted and unscripted video content in-house and out on the field;
- Produce and edit video for Social Media;
- Plan video projects for future publishing;
- Develop and engage audience online;
- Attract new clients through brand awareness as well as entertaining and educational content;
- Engage team members across all firm office locations to participate in marketing endeavors for content creation;
- Promote local community events and engagement opportunities;
- Attend community events as needed to film content;
- Documenting and training as needed;
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work collaboratively;
- Ability to configure, operate, and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment;
- Ability to operate, maintain, troubleshoot and perform repairs to audio and video equipment;
- Ability to manage time and schedules;
- Ability to work individually with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with editing software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite;
- Proficient with Social Media scheduling software;
- Proficient in post-production audio and video editing applications and procedures;
- Proficient with Mac and Windows platforms;
- Experience with creating, editing, and scheduling Social Media content;
- Ability to type 65wpm.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School or GED education required, higher level degree preferred in communications, media, or other related fields;
- One year of professional Social Media content creation;
- Driver’s License with clean driving record.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree or higher educational equivalent preferred;
- Portfolio;
- Previous experience in a similar role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.63 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
