Fat Fender Garage is seeking a professional to fill the role of Marketing Specialist. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for executing effective marketing strategies, assisting with campaign development, analyzing the effectiveness of each campaign and developing our lead generation programs. The successful candidate will play an integral role in building and engaging the company’s customer base and creating effective strategies that will promote the long-term growth with Fat Fender Garage.
This is a full time and permanent role for an analytically driven thinker who can synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to inform retention marketing strategy, and project manage and implement new strategies.
About Your Role
• Work collaboratively with our sales, creative, and leadership teams to develop meaningful content across multiple channels that drive brand awareness and validation through effective messaging.
• Research, write, and edit SEO friendly short-form and long-form digital content for websites, blogs, online communication, and content assets including case studies, emails, newsletters, technical documentation, social and more.
• Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities
• Write content that drives clicks, page views, and unique visitors.
• Ensure content reflects our company's tone, style, and branding message and our client's companies to strengthen their positions in the marketplace.
• Write and create engaging content to connect to a diverse demographic to attract and grow the online audience.
• Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met.
• Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
• Assist in the preparation and drafting of various communications (email, Social Media, blogs, etc.)
• Oversee the QA and deployment of all email campaigns via Shopify, Klayvio and email marketing calendar.
• Perform market research and monitor competitor’s email programs
• Reviews company reputation across Social Media platforms and takes several steps, both internal and external, to maintain and improve the image of the FFG Brand.
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
• 2+ years’ experience with influencing engagement on multiple social platforms
• Demonstrated leadership experience in creation of marketing database, Social Media, PPC and email
• Experience with SEO, SEM and retargeting strategies
• Proficiency in graphic design and Adobe CC preferred.
• Experience with copy and content management
• Ability to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and marketing budgets Professional and team player
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook)
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop
• Excellent analytical skills and data analysis
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
• Ability to work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
• Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays remotely depending on company workload.
• Mandatory drug screening is required
