Job Overview:
As a Part-Time Social Media Manager, you will be the voice of the company and its subsidiaries across their Social Media platforms. This role requires a mix of marketing acumen, creativity, gaming passion, and Social Media expertise to engage our audience, grow our social footprint, and enhance our brand presence. If you are a Social Media savvy individual with a deep understanding of the gaming culture and trends, we’d love to have you on board.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive Social Media strategy across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch) to increase our brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) to reflect our brand’s voice and appeal to our target audience.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting on Social Media performance, adjusting strategies as needed to grow our audience and engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in Social Media, design tools, and applications, especially within the gaming community.
- Collaborate with other departments (customer service, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
- Plan and execute online events, competitions, and giveaways to increase community engagement and brand loyalty.
- Work with influencers and content creators to expand our brand reach and create collaborative content.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in Social Media marketing or as a Social Media Manager, preferably within the gaming or tech industry.
- Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
- Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the gaming community and gaming PC market.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.
- Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media (please provide links to your managed Social Media profiles as examples).
- Professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
