Social Media Manager – Thinx

Kimberly-Clark is seeking an exceptional Social Media strategist to lead Thinx Social Media and influencer strategy. The goal of this hire is to build and activate a broadscale strategy designed to build and improve our reputation in the marketplace. The role encompasses Social Media and influencer marketing, with strong collaboration across Public Relations and DTC verticals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Social Media platforms and emerging trends. As the Thinx Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating over-arching Social Media strategy, working with agency partners to develop engaging content that delivers on brand objectives, and building and maintaining our brand's online presence across various Social Media channels.

In this role, you will:

  • In partnership with the Brand GM and the North America Social Media organization, build strategic social strategy for Thinx that generates awareness, sparks curiosity, and generates brand love.

  • Develop strong narratives that effectively land with the customer on owned channels and via brand spokespeople, influencers, and ambassadors.

  • Responsible for cohesive strategy & activation across social (organic and paid), influencers and branded partnerships.

  • Lead special projects and participate in cross functional planning to generate word of mouth and integrate owned/earned activity with paid campaigns.

  • Play a key role in shaping our social impact strategy, championing our advocacy program for many years to come.

  • Partner with a PR and media agency to identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders.

  • Build and refine our social strategy to meet key business objectives.

Location: This role can sit remotely anywhere in the USA.

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years’ professional work experience leading social strategy at an agency or in-house organization

  • Personally compelled and inspired by Thinx mission; individuals specifically interested in health and wellness, sustainability and other social issues thrive.

  • Extensive experience in social, influencer and affiliate marketing.

  • Ensures integrated communications approach, considering all audiences and communications channels.

  • Has the ability to persuade and influence, has strong written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • The candidate for this job position should be a strategic thinker and planner simultaneously with a passion for innovation. Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution.

  • Ability to combine a strategic mindset with a relentless focus on execution. A self-starter that is adept at translating business strategy into implementation plans that ensure high quality execution.

  • Proven track record of developing best-in-class campaigns that change brand perception for the better.

  • Experienced in crisis management and the ability to think fast and on your feet with impeccable judgment.

  • Highly effective at setting clear goals and measuring the impact of initiatives through managing ambitious goals.

  • Skill sets in problem-solving, leadership, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Adept at interpreting data from a variety of sources, communicating with that data, and using it to tell compelling stories.

  • Experience with technological advancements that are shaping the field of communications and are tuned into emerging trends such as chatbots, blockchain, extremely-personalized experiences, and artificial intelligence, leveraging where appropriate to drive brand objectives.

Total rewards at Kimberly-Clark includes pay and a full package of benefits that can be tailored to individual needs. The anticipated pay range for this job has a range of $128,000-$158,000 in addition to bonus potential. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
