About the Role
We are looking for an experienced social Media Manager and Content Creator to grow our Social Media channels. This role encompasses strategic planning, content ideation and creation, community, and UGC management. The ideal candidate is a creative Content Creator, an excellent communicator, and understands Social Media trends and best practices. The Social Media Manager collaborates with internal teams and reports directly to Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive Social Media strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify trends, the content that resonates with our current and potential audience, and competitive landscapes.
- Conceptualize and create engaging content concepts for Instagram and Tiktok.
- Executes pre-production, production, and post-production processes for all content.
- Produce high-quality visual and written content tailored to each platform's audience and format.
- Write compelling copy for posts, ensuring consistency with brand voice and messaging.
- Actively engage with our audience, and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Foster meaningful interactions, build relationships with followers, and cultivate a sense of community.
- Develop strategies to encourage user-generated content.
- Leverage UGC to enhance brand authenticity and engagement across Social Media channels.
- Execute PR gifting strategy.
- Monitor Social Media metrics and track performance against KPIs.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, content, and campaigns for maximum impact.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Social Media management and Content creation, preferably in-house and/or marketing agency with fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Possess a deep understanding of college sports.
- 2+ photo and video content creation and editing experience.
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts, including SEO, content optimization, and analytics.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful Social Media strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Experience in influencer marketing and community management is a plus.
