Jodie King Media is looking for a Social Mediaand Content Creator to develop and implement strategies to grow our platforms. Additionally, candidate should be able to review previously created content with the intent to repurpose (ie: podcast, YouTube, online course creations). The ideal candidate has a robust knowledge of Social Media applications and strong customer service skills. In this role, you will translate art and business stories into unique social content to engage and grow Jodie King’s Social Media channels. In addition, the Social Mediaand Content Creator will work directly with the company’s online community of artists through managing different Facebook groups and ensuring members have the best experience possible.

She possesses a combination of playful irreverence and spirituality with over 20 years of art experience that resonates with her audience from around the world. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Social Media strategy and calendar to align with business goals
- Manage and operate Jodie King organic Social Media channels, ensuring consistency and authenticity in message and tone
- Collaborate with other team members to create and source content to support social strategy plan
- Set specific objectives and report on ROI
- Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos and news)
- Communicate with followers, respond to inquiries in a timely manner and monitor customer feedback
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in Social Media, design tools and applications
- Analyze data ensuring Jodie King stays on track with goals, and if necessary, tweak strategy to improve performance
Requirements
- Self-starter with proven work experience as a Social Media Manager
- Experience in content creation and management
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
- Knowledge of online marketing channels and Social Media trends
- Analytical and multitasking skills
- Team player who’s comfortable in sharing objective feedback and fresh ideas
- Excellent performance in a work-from-home environment
- BS degree in Marketing or relevant field
- Experience with Canva is a plus
Preferred:
- Ideal candidate should be based in Austin, TX (Jodie King Media will not cover relocation costs)
- Occasional in-person meetings
Job Type: Part-time / Contractor
Pay: $27.00/hr
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional work on weekends might be needed
