We’re looking for a passionate Social Media Manager to evolve and grow this important channel. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence and bringing brand and marketing stories to life. You will work closely with our [Community Manager] to support each other and to drive overall channel success.
The ideal candidate will be organized, creative, have relevant experience creating impactful, engaging content (photo, video and copy) for brands, and excited about developing innovative stories for our Social Media calendar.

Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Original Content Creation: Conceptualize, create and launch original Social Media franchises that uniquely bring the brand to life, dovetailing into our broader brand marketing themes. This does not imply an expectation to be on camera, rather we are looking for someone who feels confident capturing content.
- Brand Storytelling: like an in-house journalist, this role will mine for compelling stories to tell about our product, our business, our team, our brand partners, and our customers and find interesting ways to keep things interesting, fun, educational and engaging.
Social Media Growth:
- Develop and execute strategies to increase followers, engagement, and brand awareness on social channels.
- Social partnerships: A knack for identifying and executing smart, creative mini-partnerships with other brands, orgs and people to help drive brand engagement and audience growth on social.
- Stay updated on Social Media trends and implement innovative approaches to stay ahead in the ever-evolving landscape.
Platform Management:
- Acting as the day-to-day keeper of the brand on social, this role will drive the ideation, creation, scheduling, management, and execution of the daily, weekly, and monthly Social Media plans.
Data Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze Social Media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Provide regular reports and insights to optimize content and improve overall Social Media presence and impact.

Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in a Social Media, community building or creative social role.
- You get excited about brands and love to tell brand stories and relate to a brand’s audience through Social Media.
- You’ve led the development of monthly Social Media content calendars.
- Extensive experience using social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube—you know them inside and out.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously.
- Strong, creative decision-making skills and experience with content curation.
- Knowledge of visual trends, technologies and future of social/digital communication.
- Proven track record of boosting engagement, along with a strong portfolio of content.
- Proficiency in reporting on engagement metrics, using data reporting tools and management platforms.
