Snf Ny State Billing Specialist 90% Remote

Wachusett Healthcare is seeking an experienced Skilled Nursing Facility Billing Specialist with New York Medicaid experience to join the team.

Remote Position - may have periodic in person meetings at facility.

*** We encourage Business Office Managers/Billers with experience billing Medicaid for multiple states to apply.

The primary purpose of the Billing Specialist is to be responsible for all billing including Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, Hospice, Private, etc. This employee will focus primarily on maximizing cash flow through efficient billing and collection processes, and as such is responsible for managing the accounts receivable functions according to the organization’s established policies and procedures or as may be directed by the Director of Revenue Cycle and/or the facility Administrator. The Billing Specialist must have great personal skills, be organized and have the ability to multitask, as well as have the ability to be a self-starter.

Business Office Manager/Biller Required Experience:

3 years Skilled Nursing Facility Business Office Manger experience required.

Knowledge of New York Medicaid Short-Term and Long-Term nursing facility billing.
