This Position is for Pactiv Evergreen Inc.
Job Description:
- Placement of monthly purchase orders for 20 manufacturing facilities.
- Responsible for order fulfillment, delivery expediting, and order maintenance throughout the life of the orders.
- Responsible for executing the payment process, resolving payment and receipt errors.
- Manage continuity of supply to facilities.
- Centralized point of contact for vendors and manufacturing facilities
- Supports the Senior Director, Resin through various initiatives to provide the manufacturing facilities with the necessary raw materials while driving savings to the bottom line.
- Supports the Engineering and New Product Development groups with the creation of new material numbers and vendor accounts.
- Drive standardized procurement best practice processes
- Works to continually improve suppliers’ performance
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of procurement or manufacturing experience.
- Intermediate to advanced excel Skills
- SAP Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Ability to Multi task and prioritize
- Ability to effectively interact with procurement, manufacturing, supply chain, as well as other departments and senior management.
