SalaryArdenture, Inc is seeking an experienced person to fill our Shipping/Recieving Coordinator position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and implements daily shipping plan.
- Coordinates the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage, staging, and shipment of finished products.
- Organizes and assigns finish product storage areas.
- Confirms availability and completeness of items to be shipped by verifying Work Order and Drawing records or conducting inventories of required items.
- Ensures product is tagged correctly
- Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments of raw materials and supplies.
- Examines materials for damage, notes any damaged products and determines whether damaged materials should be returned.
- Ensure accurate counts when receiving and shipping.
- Manually handles, repacks, or restacks finished product as needed.
- Operates forklift truck.
- Package, Palletize, and shrink wraps outbound freight orders.
- Loads product on trucks for outbound freight.
- Deliver some product locally from time to time.
- Pick up raw materials from time to time.
- Process Shipping Labels if needed to ship any items for branch.
- Process Returning Material (RMA’s) and ship to correct vendor.
- Maintain warehouse and keeps dock and shipping areas area cleared.
- Maintains inventory of packaging & shipping materials.
- Complies with safety requirements.
- Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly.
- Performs other duties and assist with special projects as directed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of this position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product and terminology.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or shop drawing form.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid state motor vehicle license and forklift safety certificate required.
- 2-4 years of work experience in a manufacturing warehouse required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.34 - $24.50 per hour
