POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shipping Clerk processes shipment paperwork for shipping/customers and inter-company transfers. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely shipment of products to customers, maintaining shipping records, and assisting with inventory management tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inputs production data from shipping and transfer teams.
- Participate in weekly meetings with vendors where needed.
- Ensure that production schedules comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Generate reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights into production performance and adherence to schedules.
- Handle any shipping-related inquiries or issues from customers or internal stakeholders.
- Maintains organized, accurate files and responsible for scanning shipping documents into system.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Communicate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Outside Processors: Coordinate with vendors approved for outside processing and follow up on any urgent or aging orders.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Other duties as required.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or (GED)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with Microsoft suite.
- Strong customer service skills and experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to use logic and problem-solving skills to resolve issues.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication and comprehension skills
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, and ability to manage time effectively.
- Proficient and accurate data entry skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, particularly when interacting with customers via telephone or in person.
- Basic math skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position works in a manufacturing environment.
- This position operates in an office environment.
- Involves: long periods of sitting; frequent stooping and bending. This position routinely uses standard office equipment.
The base pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.80. If you are hired, your base pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base pay range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued wage growth.
