Job Description
Objective
- Shipping and Receiving: Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, including verifying quantities and inspecting goods for damage.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
- Packing and Labeling: Prepare orders for shipment by carefully packing items, selecting appropriate packaging materials, and labeling packages with correct shipping information.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Documentation: Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other necessary documentation for outgoing shipments, and ensure all paperwork is complete and filed accordingly.
- Communication: Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, and shipping carriers to schedule pickups, resolve shipping issues, and provide timely updates on order status.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in the handling and storage of goods, including proper use of equipment and handling hazardous materials if applicable.
Job Qualifications
- No prior EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; shipping, receiving, and Inventory management experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines as required.
- A positive attitude and work ethic, willingness to learn new tasks/software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must possess a valid California drivers’ license, proof of auto insurance, and be insurable under agency policy if driving a company or personal vehicle.
Physical Requirements
The position can be physically demanding and requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
