Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Aaron Ford of Lake Elsinore. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment and receipt of goods in our warehouse. This is a vital position that requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect received goods for damages or defects
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging
- Generate shipping labels and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers for pickup and delivery of shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our Dealer Management System
- Perform order picking and order fulfillment tasks as needed
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move goods within the warehouse
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment

Skills:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
- Proficiency in using Dealer Management System
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
