Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound LTL and TL freight – ensure freight is adequately routed, inspected, logged, and correctly entered in the computer system
- Submit, track, and manage claims for damaged outbound freight
- Deliver and pick-up commercial vehicles (only if you hold a CDL) – unladen tractor-trailers, trailer frames, box trucks, delivery trucks, buses, and a wide-range of municipal and state vehicles within NJ/DE/PA region (must be able to operate a manual transmission); Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain driving logs
- Transport vehicles within company facility
- Deliver and pick-up parts as needed
- Assist with the management of maintenance and repair services for company equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, man lifts, overhead cranes, and golf carts
- Assist with routine building care and maintenance including, but not limited to snow removal, garbage removal, hazmat, scrap, and basic landscaping needs
- Assist with inventory management of PPE equipment and safety materials
- Perform vehicle yard maintenance and other general labor work as needed
- Perform other related tasks as assigned
Duties performed in this role will be conducted in a manufacturing shop environment where employees may be exposed to loud noises, machinery, and heavy equipment. All employees are required to wear the appropriate protective equipment when performing assigned duties.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- At least 3 years of prior experience working in shipping/receiving, transportation, logistics, or related field required
- Current CDL license considered a plus, but not required
- Must be proficient with Microsoft applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Must have the ability to successfully function in a high volume, fast paced team-oriented environment
- Must be detail oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
- CRM and ERP software experience considered a plus

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
