Benjamin Moore has an opening for a Materials Coordinator to provide materials ordering and inventory management support at the site. This role, reporting to the Materials Manager, will work closely with the site leadership team as a key administrative resource to both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:
Review MRP regularly to ensure necessary raw materials and supplies are ordered and delivered on time
Manage the flow of materials in terms of production timing, with special attention paid to limited warehouse space and specific lead-times and availability
Preparation of necessary paperwork and records for incoming raw materials, outbound shipments of products, production performance, and/or production scheduling as assigned.
Processing purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices
Maintain on site purchasing documents and files
Investigates any significant errors in the receiving process or found during cycle counts and implements preventive actions.
Build and maintain partnerships with our distributors and vendors to foster loyalty and commitment to our mutual benefit
Be a leader of physical inventory activities
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School degree or GED required, Associate's degree in business preferred
2+ years administrative experience involving materials ordering to support manufacturing operations and inventory control strongly preferred
Thorough understanding of material flow throughout facility.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
SAP experience strongly preferred
Strong communications skills, both verbally and written
Time management, organizational skills, and recordkeeping discipline
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and on several assignments simultaneously
