Job Title: Transportation Planner/Coordinator (After-Hours) (Assistant Manager level)

Overview:

Our customer, LG Electronics USA, depends on consistent & sustainable logistics for their customers through apt Smartbench/TMS usage, rule driven operations and appointment scheduling flows. Transportation Planners are responsible for providing on-time visibility to carriers for coverage, real-time communication for on-time pickup, and unifying the warehouse & carrier for on-time shipping.

Primary Responsibilities

· Download data and assess orders that are due/overdue and will be completed that night

· Tender loads to carriers on-time in Smartbench

· Schedule pickup appointments on time based on an equal hourly capacity

· Release loads to Warehouse Management System on time

· Follow up with carrier and warehouse to maximize on-time truck arrival & shipping

· Follow up with carrier to secure same day or next day recovery

· Relay delivery appointment reschedule requests on time

· Validate events during transit, such as accessorial charges

· Draft and submit daily closing report regarding missed pickups, recovery/rescheduling status, remaining overdue orders, and how to clear them out

Key Performance Indicators:

· On-Time Tender Request

· On-Time Pickup Appt Confirmation

· On-Time Release to WMS

· On-Time Truck Arrival

· Same Day Recovery for Missed Pickups

· Missed Pickup Rate

· On-Time Reschedule Request

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

· Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is a plus

· 1+ years of experience in data entry

· 3-4 years of customer service experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain or procurement

· Able to work occasional overtime hours

· Proficient in MS Excel (intermediate or better preferred)

· Experience/knowledge with Supply Chain Management Systems (TMS, WMS preferred)

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Detail-oriented and team player

· Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to prioritize tasks during time-sensitive situations

· Korean/English bilingual is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
