Associate, Inventory Coordinator

About the role:
CHANEL is looking for an Associate, Inventory Coordinator to join our Fashion After-Sales Team in Piscataway, NJ You will play a leading role in assisting with day-to-day After-Sales Operations. This role interfaces with all After-Sales teams (Client Care, Spare Parts, Workshop Artisans) and is a key partner for our supply chain operations. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and a passion for operations and client product.
What impact you can create at CHANEL:
  • Assist with daily processing of repair volume, prioritizing client escalations, rushes and quality alert repairs
  • Partner with Workshop and spare parts teams on product and repair type questions
  • Work with Workshop Manager and Artisans daily to ensure sufficient product flow, and ensure repairs are prioritized based on repair type and client
  • Implement process flows for stock and client repairs, ensuring lead times are sustained
  • Consistently challenge current processes, looking for different ways to work efficiently
  • Manage accurate inventory count of all items flowing in and out of repair workshop
  • Work in dedicated After-Sales systems to complete repair QC process in a timely fashion (pictures of repairs, invoicing, transfer documents, repair paperwork)
  • Assist with outbound logistics and warehouse teams on shipment of repairs – coordinating and ensuring accuracy of all outbound shipments to retail stores
  • Assist (when needed) with product inventory associate on product assessment (both stock and client owned items), partner with client relations team and spare part teams on communication of repair feasibility

Position Logistics:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in product operations or retail
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Compensation
  • The anticipated base hourly range for this position is $24.50-$35/hr. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay [may/will] be offered for this position. Other components [may/will] include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
