Spherion Staffing of Lake and Sumter County has an opening for an experience Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join a busy manufacture located in Leesburg. This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a pay rate of $18.11 per hour. Candidates must have computer skills, interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
Manage the shipping and receiving process efficiently and accurately.
Utilize UPS/FedEx shipping systems to prepare and track shipments.
Receive incoming shipments, verify contents, and ensure accurate documentation.
Pack and label outgoing shipments according to shipping guidelines and regulations.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills:
Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in shipping and receiving or a related field.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and shipping software.
Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
