PARTS SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK

Job Summary:
The Parts Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Prestige Ford in Mt. Dora, Florida is responsible for SHIPPING AND RECEIVING auto parts for our dealership. This individual must be organized and maintain an accurate inventory count.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of auto parts, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Maintain and organize inventory of parts and supplies
• Properly package and ship orders to customers and other dealerships
• Accurately record shipments and update inventory records
• Communicate with vendors and service department for special orders and back-ordered items
• Maintain a clean and organized SHIPPING AND RECEIVING area
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in SHIPPING AND RECEIVING or inventory management preferred
• Knowledge of auto parts and dealership operations a plus
• Ability to accurately and efficiently use computer systems and inventory software
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
