Inventory Purchasing & Receiving Clerk

The Inventory Purchasing & Receiving Clerk will work closely with our sales and production team to ensure orders are fulfilled with accuracy, organization, and in a timely manner, on behalf of our customers. This role will require clear and urgent communication with sales and production team members to execute high volume projects.

This role is primarily responsible for entering purchase orders with vendors, receiving purchase orders and matching received goods with the accurate orders This position requires consistent, accurate and efficient operation because it is a central component of the production.

Your Responsibilities:

- Create purchase orders with the vendors before daily cutoff times - Receive and inspect incoming shipments
- Verify accuracy of received items against purchase orders and quotes
- Unpack, label, and stock received items in appropriate locations
- Operate warehouse equipment such as dymo printer - Utilize warehouse management system (Printavo) to create and manage purchase orders - Maintain cleanliness and organization of shipping and receiving area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a distribution center preferred
- Previous experience placing purchase orders
- Previous experience in shipping and fulfillment
- Previous experience using a project management system
