Server/Waiter

BORRELLI'S PIZZA & ITALIAN FOOD:

We are family owned establishment that has been a staple in the community for over 40 years. We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to join our small team as a Server.

At Borrellis we do operate as a team, where everyone pitches in to help each other. We for sure are going to need someone with the following availability:

ROTATING:

M, TH, SUN - PM SHIFTS

SET:

FRI, SAT - PM SHIFTS

Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Skills:
- Food handling: Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
- Food safety: Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Cash handling: Proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately
- Math: Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and splitting checks
- Help: Willingness to assist guests with any inquiries or special requests
- POS: Familiarity with point-of-sale systems for order entry and payment processing
- Food service: Experience in providing excellent customer service in a food service setting
- Food preparation: Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation
- Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Guest relations: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and address their needs

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
