Position Summary
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit, and loss through accounts reconciliations. The accountant supports any areas of our accounting team and operations to ensure effective and efficient operations. Essential Duties
- Review and document major accounting processes and can back fill any accounting function as needed.
- Test internal controls and drive process improvement.
- Documents, reviews, and updates SOPs
- Take on complex internal and external (domestic and international) cash management reporting and processing.
- Manage complex Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Process EOM accruals, assist with EOM financial statement support and analysis.
- Identify and process GL adjusting entries, allocations.
- Communicate and interact professionally and collaboratively with all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Provide leadership to other team members and to cross functional colleagues.
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Verifies and ensures payments are posted against correct accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
- Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
- Prepares monthly payable commissions to sales reps across brands.
- Prepares and verifies monthly sales tax report.
- Supports, trains, and mentors’ junior staff and help with the staff work if needed.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
- Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
- Assisting with accounting tasks such as invoicing or tracking purchase order numbers
- Perform Ad Hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Education

Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar field required.
- 3 - 5 years as a Staff Accountant or higher role in a public or private company.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlooks, etc.), video conference/chat applications (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.), and other common office applications.
- Excel skills to include proficiency with functions such as V-lookup, Pivot Tables, and IF functions.
- Previous experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Preferred previous experience in manufacturing.
- Must possess excellent attention to detail and deep understanding of general ledgers.
- Alignment with ACF values and a willingness to incorporate into all aspects of your work.
- Must be comfortable working in a fluid & fast paced environment, comfortable with change and consistently meeting tight deadlines.
Working Environment and Physical Demands
The majority of work is performed in an indoor office setting and/or home office (if work from home is approved). You must follow all Company policies on safety and security of company property. You are expected to inquire about safety and ergonomics when uncertain or entering a new work environment where hazards may be present. Employees are expected to abide by safety procedures in effect at any additional worksites, vendor/client offices, etc.
You must be able to sit at and navigate a computer workstation for up to eight hours per day. You may be required to travel periodically.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
