Responsibilities
Job Purpose
As a Senior Event Sales Manager specializing in the intricacies of wedding bookings and Private Events, your primary role is to not only establish but also deeply cultivate client relationships, serving as the driving force behind successful private event sales. Your focus extends beyond mere transactions; it encompasses the delivery of exceptional customer service while meticulously overseeing the entire lifecycle of Private Events, from initial inquiry to flawless execution.
Responsibilities
- Utilize your expertise to navigate and excel in the nuances of wedding and private event sales.
- Develop market segments and cultivate new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones.
- Develop and maintain robust client relationships, ensuring a profound understanding of their unique needs and preferences.
- Act as the primary point of contact, fostering trust and rapport throughout the event planning process.
- Market and sell to external markets, covering corporate events, weddings, rehearsal dinners, personal milestone events, and more.
- Act as an ambassador for the property, establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals and corporations to foster repeat business and seek new opportunities.
- Increase external awareness within the community, from the club to bridal shows and other public events.
- Showcase strong negotiation skills to secure agreements that are mutually beneficial, considering both client expectations and organizational objectives.
- Serve as a positive role model in social media and public forums, actively participating in public-facing opportunities.
- Maximize revenue to meet and exceed sales goals and budgets.
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef to design custom menus and coordinate with the entire management team for event communication.
- Develop a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to achieve departmental revenue goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of leveraging various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) to drive sales.
- A positive, engaging, and team-oriented approach to the workplace.
- Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and CRM.
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on exceeding customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license required.
Education
- College degree preferred or 3 years of related sales experience, preferably in the golf/hospitality/service industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation
$65-$70k Base + Commission
