Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the construction of a new high school.
Position Overview: As the Senior Project Manager for the high school construction project, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire project life cycle. From initial planning to project completion, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of construction to ensure the successful delivery of a state-of-the-art high school facility. Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a diverse project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular project team meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Quality Control:
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues promptly.
Client Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction throughout the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on educational facilities.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficient in project management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
