Our client, a growing employee-owned multi location industrial service provider, is looking for an Electrical Estimator / Project Manager to add to their team. The Estimator will execute cost analysis for projects up to $3 Million. The Estimator will work with the sales group, the contracts team, and management throughout the cost life cycle. Must be well organized, energetic, detail-oriented and a team player, able to handle a fast-paced job with deadlines. You will have deep involvement in the RFQ-RFP process ensuring all bids meet safety and regulatory requirements. Full time position.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience a Journeyman Estimator or Project Manager, preferably in the industrial space
- Journeyman Contractors License in New Jersey is preferred
- Possesses excellent communication skills and able to make economic decisions and/or present the case for investments
- Computer literacy, to include advanced aptitude in Excel, Word and Project
- Understanding of the project delivery approach either as a Lump Sum / Competetive Bid or GMP
- Experience with internet-based bidding sites
- Ability to use On-Screen take-off programs
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu and ProCore or similar estimating software
- Strong communication skills in person, over the phone and in writing to interface with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities while maintaining high job standards and detail orientation in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a willingness to learn and grow as a construction professional within the company and the marketplace
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision as well as in a team
- Valid driver's license is required
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
