Summary/objective
As a key member of HORNE Accelerate, the Organizational Development (OD) Specialist will effectively assist with planning, implementing, following up, improving, and creating sustainability of various processes and projects. Some of those projects and processes would include comprehensive surveys, data analysis, culture, and value alignment, change management, and development of teams of varying sizes. This individual would be part of the HORNE Accelerate team, serving clients in the Construction Industry.
Essential functions

- Create tools, materials, and procedures to assist with execution and implementation of Organizational development examples include project plans, assessments, surveys, and communications.
- Develop, execute and analyze the results of various employee surveys and support the action planning process to deliver desired outcomes.
- Reports data in various formats as requested
- Work with the Accelerate leadership to assess organizational needs to determine the overall direction of OD projects and initiatives.
- Research and identify best practices for OD.
- Writes blogs, speaking points, and other employee communications to ensure messaging alignment with project intentions, deliverables, and client culture.
- Work with Accelerate team to develop competency models and career pathways, facilitate talent reviews and support the talent review process.
- Manage coaching administration and leadership assessment processes.
- Perform other OD responsibilities as requested.

- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Required education and experience

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Industrial/ Organizational Psychology or related field or 3 years of experience as a practitioner experience is required
- 4-6 years of relevant experience; relevant Master’s degree may apply toward years of experience
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively interface with a wide variety of people, both internally and externally
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple projects. Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and executing tasks.
- Must be able to collaborate and work well as part of a team.
- Basic Knowledge of applied statistics
- Background check required
Preferred education and experience

- Master’s degree in related field
- Certifications in leadership development/training, coaching, change, individual and Organizational assessment, and other related programs
- Experience/ knowledge of R (environment for statistical computing and graphics)
- Prior experience in individual and Organizational assessment, measurement and analysis background is highly preferred
