Tower Loan is searching for a full-time Training and Development Specialist to join the Training team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about developing others to their full potential and eager to expand their own knowledge and experience in instructional design.
The successful applicant will assist our team in evaluating and updating all our training programs which affect virtually every department at Tower Loan. It's the perfect position for a talented individual to add substantial value to our employees' lives and the company's success.
Compensation:

• $17.00 - $25.00 / hour; depending on experience, qualifications and expected impact.

Responsibility Summary:

• Designs, develops, and maintains course materials including instructor manuals, participant guides, eLearning, video, train-the-trainer materials, job aids, evaluations, tests, etc.
• Collaborates and consults with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop course content
• Analyzes, updates, and refines existing content
• Conducts train-the-trainer sessions to empower others to successfully deliver, measure, and evaluate a training session
• Keeps current on the best practices in instructional design
• Completes all other duties as assigned

Minimal Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience in instructional design, training development, training delivery, distance learning, or a related experience
• Experience using authoring tools (Articulate, Storyline, etc.) to develop and publish eLearning
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Solid project management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using learning management systems (LMS), preferably Docebo
• Experience using Articulate and Storyline to design training content.
• Experience using AI tools to design training content
• Experience in planning and implementing training workshops (i.e. event)
• Proven success in improving employee engagement

*This position is located in Flowood, MS. The employee will report daily to our corporate location.*
Work Schedule:

• Work Schedule: M-F; 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.; overtime may be occasionally required due to department and organizational needs.
