Key Responsibilities
The Human Resource Partner (consideration for Senior HRP based on experience) is responsible for administrative and campus support of day-to-day human resource functions with direct management and mentorship from the Assistant Director of Human Resources, in areas of leave administration, employee relations, performance management, payroll, benefits, and general day-to-day communication on HR-related questions. The HRP should expect to be in direct support of a portfolio of Noble’s campuses.
Build strong relationships with campus staff and leadership by addressing inquiries timely and concisely.
Some travel to campuses throughout Chicago is required for in person support.
Serves as a trusted resource who is available to employees to answer questions, escalate matters and hold campuses accountable to HR compliance and policies timely and concisely.
Exhibit solutions oriented recommendations and provide support on complex people issues.
Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance (in Paycom).
Assists employees and supervisors with interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Responds to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
Assists with ad hoc HR projects.
Respond to employee relation matters: conduct investigations, meeting coordination, conduct analysis and provide recommendations, follow through on any solutions and check ins, draft summary report for Legal counsel review.
Support with leave of absences, benefits, and ADA for employees.
Provide support for performance management.
Analyze HR data and provide monthly updates.
Conduct exit interviews.
Adhere to HR Compliance (including federal and local laws and internal practices)
Provide unemployment and worker’s comp support as needed.
Execute payroll support and processing.
Build and maintain vendor relationships and leverage them for any employee inquiries or escalations.
Other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate Experience and Traits
A minimum of three years of human resources experience, particularly as an HR generalist/partner strongly preferred
Prior experience in a K-12 or non-profit setting preferred
Proven track record of achieving results
Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and resourcefulness
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
A positive attitude, initiative, and a sense of possibility
Deep self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve

Bachelor’s Degree Required
