JOB SUMMARY FOR SR. HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:

  • Epitec is seeking a Sr. HR Specialist to join the organization.
  • This position will be responsible for providing HR Generalist support for processes and programs across the Global Functions.
  • This is a unique time to join the team as we are supporting the integration of another company, and an exciting transformation in the Global Finance and IT organizations.
  • This is an opportunity to gain exposure and experience to the HR Business Partner role for continued career growth and development.
  • The Sr. HR Representative will partner with key stakeholders to implement and drive key initiatives, programs, and processes, support managers and employees as needed, and identify ways to add value to all the Global Functions including Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Communications, Business Development & Strategy, and Corporate Services.
  • This role is a part of a well-regarded and high performing Human Resources team!
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm / Hybrid: 2-3 days on-site in Deerfield, IL.
  • Pay Rate: $48 - $55/hourly depending on our optional benefits plans.
  • Start Date: January 8th, 2024

 

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR SR. HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:

  • Support HR team in implementing function HR plans and programs (i.e., talent review and planning, annual compensation review, performance management).
  • Provide functional support with promotions, changes in salary, transfers, parental leaves, resignation/termination exit interviews, etc.
  • Support employees and managers, as needed, regarding HR matters (i.e., employee relations, new employee orientation, benefit/leave, policies).
  • Partner and liaise with functional COE members to resolve HR matters.
  • Serve as the point liaison regarding HR Operations matters (e.g., processing HR actions, drafting content, off-boarding processes).
  • Partner with the Employee Relations CoE on performance issues, investigations, and notifications.
  • Manage employee-related data (e.g., extract data reports, apply foundational analysis, create data files).
  • Lead various employee data audits (e.g., funding entity, training courses).
  • Work independently to resolve straightforward HR matters. As well as help resolve moderately complex HR matters.
  • Recommend and drive improvement to HR systems, policies, and processes Escalate HR matters to respective HR team members, as needed.
  • Collaborate with team located across multiple time zones.

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR SR. HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST:

  • Bachelor's degree required and 3 - 5 years of professional Human Resources experience.
  • Proficiency and comfort with Microsoft Office and HR Systems (e.g., Workday and Kronos).
  • Experience working with Leadership Team members, People Managers and employees working in a variety of locations (field, corporate, global).
  • Working knowledge of HR management components including performance management, development, compensation, culture and engagement, change management, organizational design, and inclusion & diversity is preferred.
  • • Preferred experience in other areas or Centers of Excellence in Human Resources such as Talent Management, Compensation, Mobility, Employee Relations or Talent Acquisition.

  • Maintain good rapport and working relationships with people at all levels of the organization in an effort to prevent and/or resolve concerns in the workplace.
  • A disciplined and organized approach to the execution of work responsibilities.
  • Ability to be agile to adapt, prioritize, and succeed in a face-paced and global environment.
  • Ability to analyze data, and partner with the HR Business Partners to tell meaningful stories and recommendations for improvement.
