Position Summary
Serve as main point of contact with clients for benefits administration service delivery on assigned book of business. Ensure customer service excellence by creating a relationship with each assigned client. Responsible for day-to-day benefits needs of the client and their employees. Conduct onsite and virtual benefits orientations as needed. Act as liaison between client employees, Tandem and vendors.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Main point of contact for assigned clients. Responsible for Benefit Administration and client satisfaction.
- Manage client benefit implementation onboarding including conducting new hire orientations, manage and conduct employee education meetings, gather and ensure proper documentation received, and communicate employee benefit eligibility.
- Assist employees with eligibility and coverage issues and questions.
- Manage all administration for assigned client benefit plans.
- Act as a liaison between the insurance carriers and employee to ensure resolution of any claim inquiries.
- Lead annual open enrollment process for clients and build/distribute renewal package.
- Audit enrollment, new hire enrollment, terminations and ensure accuracy of data entered
- Responsible to enroll/term QLE’s and oversee/ review the entire enrollment/termination process.
- Case all incoming email messages and phone calls from employees and clients to ensure accurate and timely responses.
- Ensure a high level of customer service delivery by providing timely, accurate, courteous, and appropriate responses to worksite employees, clients, and insurance carriers.
- Assist with all other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or human resources context preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience, preferably in an agency, brokerage, or human resources or benefits role.
- CEBS or benefits related coursework a plus, or successful internal demonstration of required qualifications and competencies.
- Experience in all aspects of Benefit Administration for all employee categories, resolving employee benefit issues.
- Service oriented.
- Working knowledge of benefits related laws and regulations (preferred).
- Project management experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite; proficient in Excel skills.
- Strong skills in various HRIS and payroll software like Prism, Ceridian, HRP, SAP preferred.
- Occasional travel required.
- Bilingual in Spanish desired, but not required.
