The Senior HR Generalist provides effective HR operational services and advice to managers and staff to support the delivery of company objectives and outcomes. The Senior HR Generalist serves as a consultant on all HR-related matters, including performance management, recruiting and talent development, and employee relations. The HRBP manages and resolves complex employee relations issues and guides performance improvement and related issues. She/he works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. The role includes skilled input into a broad range of HR policy work, talent acquisition, managing complex and varied employee relations issues, and ensuring that HR data and reporting is fit to inform decision making. This is an exempt position reporting to the Human Resources Director. The position is onsite, with flexibility to work remotely one day per week only. There will be a 5% annual bonus eligibility included.

Salary: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year (with a 5% annual bonus eligibility)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide HR consulting services to managers as it relates to human resources programs and policies.
- Provide policy guidance and interpretation; recommend and implement changes as needed.
- Facilitate the organization's performance management program and provides performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Play a role in designing, developing, and executing full-cycle recruitment plans and talent sourcing strategies that guarantee the attraction, selection, and successful recruitment of potential talents that will further drive the achievement of staffing goals as well as the business's overall objectives.
- Ensure efficient processing of HR administration. All onboarding and termination activities.
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Consult with legal as needed/required.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Consult with employees and management on employee relations issues providing guidance and assistance with policy interpretation, open and direct communication, conflict resolution, performance management, and conduct-related issues.
- Research and explain employment law concerns to managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Research human resource policies, compensation, and other employment issues. Performs analysis and makes recommendations.
- Advise and train managers on best practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee issues.
- Handle FMLA, disability, worker's compensation, and other required leaves
- Support talent development, succession planning, workspace planning
- Coordinate company events and activities
- Perform other duties as needed.
B.S. in Human Resources OR any combination of education, training, and related HR experience.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work as a team player and promote a cooperative work atmosphere.
- Background in an union environment is desirable but not required.
- Background in a manufacturing environment is desirable but not required.
- Ability to multi-task, and prioritize appropriately.
- Ability to review and self-check work for accuracy and completeness.
- Strong ability in communicating with diverse groups of people both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
