Job Description
This position reports to the Marketing Manager and is responsible for the creation of marketing collateral including print, digital, mock ups, packaging, email marketing templates and other materials all centered around creating the best customer experience. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting the website, digital marketing campaigns and brand experience efforts. The ideal candidate must demonstrate great attention to detail, possess a refined creativity and have a solid grasp of effective design concepts and analytics.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist marketing manager directly with all marketing functions as well as collaborate with other departments.
- Lead design direction to ensure that a consistent design + aesthetic is maintained across all marketing and sales collateral while also staying within brand guidelines.
- Create and produce all marketing collateral, including flyers, catalogs, postcards, digital templates, logos, etc.
- Develop new packaging designs for private label products using current color scheme.
- Generate and manage barcodes for private label products.
- Communicating, preparing, and submitting artwork to vendors outside of the company while also building strong working relationships.
- Assist in developing integrated marketing strategy to promote new and core products.
- Support and maintain company website, including data uploads, design support, new product set-ups, online promotions and company blog.
- Create and maintain brand style guides for private label products.
- Design visual and support materials for industry trade shows for the sales team.
- Gather design feedback and exhibit flexibility and willingness to integrate changes to improve the work.
- Staying up to date on current design trends and new emerging technologies and programs.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design with 4-6 years of related professional experience. Portfolio of work required.
- Advanced skill level in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign.
- Must be a self-starter with ability to manage time effectively and clearly communicate concepts.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and be a collaborative team player.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
