Overview
You will join the Human Factors & Experience Design (HFXD) team and help shape the OTTAVA™ and MONARCH™ surgical robotic systems.
As Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for the crafting, updating, and maintaining drawings used for user-facing documentation and global product labeling components, such as packaging design. In close partnership with our design team and team mates from marketing, clinical, human factors and engineering, you will influence projects across surgical robotic systems.

Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and maintain labeling components which includes, but is not limited to, drawings for use in user-facing documentation and on labeling components, package inserts, product packaging labels, product carton artwork, and posters.
- Works within the confines of the Quality System policy as well as global regulatory requirements and follows MedTech Design style guide and branding requirements.
- Collaborates with a cross-functional product development team to acquire source material and information to develop understanding of the products.
- Maintains schedules, understands inter-dependencies within and across projects, and provides labeling assets for complex labeling-related projects.
- Actively participate on design reviews and assures that the quality of design work meets HFXD standards and product requirements.
Qualifications
Education & Required Skills/Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design or similar field.
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong design mastery in graphic design and brand identity that display your knowledge of the design and print production.
Preferred Skills & Experience :
- Minimum Graphic Design experience: Bachelor’s plus 5 years, Master’s plus 3 years.
- Must be highly organized and attentive to details.
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and other 2D softwares.
- Strong prioritization skills, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Other:
- This position is based in Santa Clara, CA and requires Ability up to 10%, international and domestic travel
The anticipated base pay range for this position is [$119,500] to [$191,000].
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
