Champions Group is seeking a creative and motivated Senior Graphic Designerto join our team in Brea, CA.
This is a full-time, non-exempt level position, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and lead multi-scale design projects; manage and execute graphics for both digital and print mediums, encompassing Home Office Marketing initiatives and beyond
- Coordinate with external vendors and freelancers when needed, ensuring seamless execution of design projects
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute compelling designs that resonate with target audiences
- Prioritize and manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage creative requests, oversee artwork approvals and deadlines
- Develop and maintain brand identity across all creatives while providing guidance and feedback to design team
- Organize and curate creative assets by maintaining a central repository of creative assets
- Create and provide design templates that can be used by other Graphic Designers, enhancing efficiency and maintaining brand consistency
- Absorbs knowledge and direction, then builds on it to bring ideas to life
- Stay informed about industry standards, the latest graphic advancements, and ongoing developments
- Review final deliverables to ensure flawless layout, images, and typography
- Continually seek opportunities to refine design thinking, improve upon current processes and optimize workflow
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Required – Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Graphic Design or equivalent experience preferred
- Required – 5-8 years experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Photoshop
- Strong photography experience would be preferred
- Strong experience in photo editing and retouching images
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office
- Thrives in a creative and collaborative work setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and self-manage
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive on projects
- Extraordinary attention to detail, while still working under deadlines
- Knowledge in videography and filming are a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10 -20 lbs
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
