Position Overview:
As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer/Video Editor at Zenni Optical, you will be a pivotal member of our Multimedia team, responsible for crafting compelling and visually stunning content that resonates with our audience. This role combines the art of Motion Graphics and video editing to bring our creative visions to life. Your work will span a diverse range of projects, including brand campaigns, promotional and educational content, live stream content, and more.
What we want you to own in this role:
  • Edit, and animate a variety of video content, including promotional content on site and marketing content across various channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally, to develop or source additional assets such as CGI, Motion Graphics, illustrations, and photography.
  • Apply a deep understanding of the video production process to streamline post-production workflows for greater efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other team members across the company, offering support on their projects and receiving support on yours.
  • Review creative notes via our video review platform and communicate version changes to stakeholders from one edit to the next.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain quality control by ensuring the accuracy of product representation and claims in all visual elements.
  • Oversee data management for files that make up each editorial project. Including raw assets, project files and final deliverables.
  • Collaborate with project managers, producers, and stakeholders to ensure video content aligns with compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance the team's creative output and efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of the video post-production workflow and best practices, with a minimum of 7 years of demonstrated video experience (10+ years preferred).
  • Submission of an online portfolio showcasing your work is required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with expertise in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of CGI tools and processes, including Cinema 4D, Maya, Redshift, Vray, Houdini, and real-time engines, is a significant advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines across global teams.
  • Experience with enterprise-level project management tools like Workfront, Jira, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence for effective collaboration.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Effective self-management skills.
  • A degree in Film, Media, or Fine Arts is a bonus.

As of 01/01/2023, the expected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company's business needs.
