Job Description
Our clientis seeking a Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer to be based in Sacramento, California. This role will support a wide variety of water projects with a special emphasis on dams and levees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
- Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
- Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
- Leads technical business development work.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise.
- Approves and signs off on work.
- Leader in one or more areas of technology.
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large, complex projects
Education and Experience
- 5- 10 years water resources experience
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering with geotechnical background / training required
- Experience performing geotechnical civil design for Water/Wastewater and/or levees and dams projects
- Active California PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
