Position Opening:Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer
Location: Sacramento, California
We are in search of an experienced Senior Geotechnical Civil Engineer to join our team in Sacramento, CA, focusing on a variety of water-related infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on the design and oversight of dams and levees.

Salary range: $125,000 - $185,000, based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and lend your technical expertise to medium to large projects.
Maintain and lead technical client relationships, significantly contributing to business development efforts.
Drive the growth of technical expertise within your department.
Offer specialized technical guidance for studies and design projects, leveraging your specific area of expertise.
Review, approve, and sign off on projects.
Serve as a technical leader in one or more technological domains.
Estimate engineering budgets and schedules for complex projects to meet specific requirements.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree with over 10 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Preferred:
More than 20 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, particularly with water/wastewater projects, levees, and dams.
Proficient in performing Geotechnical Civil design.
Experience with Project Structure and Estimation (PSE) package creation.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong background in geotechnical engineering.
Active California Professional Engineer (PE) License, or the capability to secure one within 6 months.
Additional Details:
This is an exempt position requiring occasional or minimal travel.
