Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician

KB Components Dallas is a plastics Injection Molding company located in Arlington, Texas. We are recently part of the KB Components global company based out of Sweden. We are seeking a skilled Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician to join our Texas team!

As a Process Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining Injection Molding machines, ensuring the production of high-quality plastic parts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Injection Molding and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

We currently have availabilty in all 3 shifts.

• 1st Shift (Day) is 7:00am to 3:30pm
• 2nd Shift (Evening) is 3:00pm to 11:30pm
• 3rd Shift (Night) is 11:00pm to 7:30am

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Injection Molding machines, including Milacron, HPM, Mitsubishi, Van Dorn, Nissei, and Engel brands, to produce plastic parts according to specifications
• Monitor and adjust machine parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time, to optimize production efficiency and quality
• Perform troubleshooting, and tasks to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and other technical documents to ensure accurate production
• Conduct quality inspections of molded parts using measuring tools and visual inspection techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement corrective actions
• Follow ISO 9001 & 13485 certification requirements and participate in audits to maintain compliance
• Experience with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and ability to support PPAP submissions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating and troubleshooting Injection Molding machines
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents
• ISO 9001 & 13485 certification experience and familiarity with quality management systems
• Knowledge of the PPAP process and ability to support PPAP submissions
• IATF 16949 experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed

• ISO 9001 Certification Experience
• PPAP Process Experience

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• Injection Molding Machine (Milacron, Nissei, Engel)

Salary info:

$25 - $38 / hr
