Senior Administrative Assistant

WIRX Engineering, LLC (WIRX) has a Senior Administrative position available at a large Construction Site located approximately 10 miles south of Lake Okeechobee/South Bay, FL.

A tentative start date of the first week in April 2024 is anticipated, with a Project duration of approximately 6 years. Subsequent similar assignments would be available upon completion.

The position would be responsible for typical Project and Project Manager support, including scheduling updates, meeting notes, physical and electronic filing (SFWMD - E-Builder, USACE), pay application review support, conference call and meeting setups, request for information (RFI) and document support, etc. typical of a Government Construction Site.

• Record Construction activities, schedules
• Complete forms, submit electronically, keep records
• Complete daily reports for client / internal use
• Enter data into computer system/s per the process (SFWMD / USACE)
• Requirements - High school diploma / GED and 5+ years experience in Public and Private Construction Administrative services. SFWMD, USACE and FDOT administrative support experience a plus.
• Some travel will be required to work at remote sites in Florida
• Excellent driving record
• Must pass company background checks - drug screen and driving record
• Pay rate is commensurate with experience and certifications held
• Experience supporting construction sites a plus
• Full knowledge and literacy in Microsoft Program Suite (WORD, EXCEL, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Salary: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, based on experience and qualification levels
