Senior Accounting Manager - Virtual/Remote

Enumerate is looking for a SeniorAccounting Manager to join our team!
In this position, you will play a crucial role in our financial reporting team, overseeing tasks such as consolidations, general ledger management, and monthly account reconciliations. This full-time salaried role has an accountant reporting to them, works closely with the rest of the corporate accounting team, and reports to our Corporate Controller. Salary range is $125-135k, depending on experience. This position is remote eligible, with a preference for candidates in CST/EST.

What you’ll do

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: monthly financial close general ledger, and accounts payable, commissions reporting
• Assist with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
• Assess current practices and procedures, streamline month end close through automation and process improvements
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness in a timely manner
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Prepare/review monthly account analysis for all balance sheet accounts
• Ad hoc projects as requested by supervisor and CFO
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships within the organization
• Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end

You should have

• Required education and background:
  • Bachelor’s in Accounting
  • 8+ years of accounting experience
  • 2+ years in a supervisory/ leadership role
  • Financial system experience, preferably NetSuite
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Preferred experience that will make you stand out:
  • SaaS Industry
  • Public Accounting
  • Private equity/ Portfolio, including due diligence and assessment for M&A
  • CMA, CPA, and/or MBA
• Demonstrates emotional intelligence, clarity and professionalism in written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
• Able to initiate and thrive in a remote work environment
• Ability to travel 5% for quarterly all-hands meetings
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
