Job Description: Responsibilities:
Month-End Close
- Lead month-end close process for multiple entities
- Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address any discrepancies.
- Manage intercompany account reconciliations.
- Record gain/loss entries for exchange rate fluctuations
Financial Statement Preparation
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement for each company.
- Consolidate financial statements to provide a holistic view.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain deviations from expectation.
Departmental Reporting
- Generate monthly reports for distribution to managers.
- Perform variance analysis as directed.
- Calculate key performance indicators (KPIs) as needed.
Budget Assistance
- Assist in the budgeting process to support financial planning and forecasting.
Audit Collaboration
- Work closely with auditors during the audit process to ensure compliance and provide necessary documentation.
Ad Hoc Projects
- Contribute to ad hoc projects as required, leveraging financial expertise and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Experience in corporate finance across multiple domestic and international companies
- Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
- Familiarity with ERP systems to support financial operations.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (No other degrees will be considered)
- Background in inventory management with SKU experience
- Experience with Deferred Revenue accounting
- Proficiency in Progressive Billing processes
