Caterpillar has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager, focused on growing the continuous power gas business in the Eastern United States.
The Eastern U.S. Sales Team is responsible for leading all efforts related to sales for new products (Gas/Diesel Standby & Prime Power), aftermarket sales and switchgear sales. Our efforts enable us to achieve close customer relationships, dealer development and market leadership. Our team consists of dedicated Sales Representatives covering new unit sales and services, Senior Account Managers, Switchgear Territory Managers and Senior Product Consultants.
Job Overview
• Build customer relationships with key gas genset customers
• Develop a robust pipeline with our dealers for future continuous gas sales
• Ensure Assigned Customers have a “Positive Experience”
• Serve as the industry expert for 3500 and CG platform GAS gensets in the Eastern U.S.
• Identify gaps in product offerings and provide voice of customer back to product groups
• Create go to market strategies to increase gas genset sales
• Lead projects to gain buy in for these new market strategies

Industry Knowledge:
• Discusses industry-specific flagship products and services.
• Demonstrates current knowledge of the regulatory environment for industry segment.
• Currently works with a major industry segment and associated functions and features.
Must have a willingness to travel. Typically, 25-50% of time will be spent traveling.
