Salary1.Verify all security sensitive doors are locked.
2.Place security chains at driveway openings during designated times.
3.Patrol buildings on a regular basis checking for unauthorized personnel.
4.Escorts staff when needed to and from the building.
5.Keep premises clear of unauthorized vehicles and personnel.
6.Maintains continuous communication with pharmacy.
7.Contacts state police when unauthorized individual is causing disturbance, refuses to leave company property or suspicious activity observed.
8.Communicates any security problems with facility management.
9.Maintains security vehicle in a neat and orderly manner.
10.Maintains neat and clean personal appearance.
11.Conduct/participate in random employee searches.
12.Review video surveillance equipment on a regular basis.
13Report temperature-monitoring alarms to facility management.
14.Monitor parking lot conditions and report snow and ice conditions to maintenance.
15.Maintains confidentiality of company and patient information.
16.Check/inspect emergency equipment.
17.Coordinates MTS courier pick up and drop off service.
18.Performs other duties as assigned.
19.Maintains and promotes a positive and professional image.
Qualifications:
Education:
Graduated from an accredited high school.
Experience/Knowledge:
*Previous experience as Security Guard.
*Ability to remain calm in emergency situation
*Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form*
* Reliability and trustworthy
*Responsible
Physical Requirements:
In an 8 hour day the employee:
A.May lift/carry 0-5 lbs. frequently
B.Stands/walks 50-100% of the time
C.Sits 50-100% of the time
D.Drives a car/truck 50-75% of the time
